Established in 1962, Ron Jakobs has owned and operated Bert’s Foreign Auto Service for more twenty-five years. Ron started in the automotive repair business when he was 16 and has worked for many independent shop owners up and down the coast before he purchased Bert’s Foreign Auto Service from his father Bert Jakobs in 1987. He is a hands-on shop owner and today, under Ron’s direction, Bert’s Foreign Auto Service prides itself on servicing vehicles with competitive pricing, using the most up-to-date tools and diagnostic technology available and by hiring certified mechanics who also know how to fix a car the old fashioned way. Ron offers 12 month warranties on his work and also offers services such as pre-purchase vehicle inspections for people looking to buy a used car.
